FranExcel Helps Nina’s Paris Enter Middle East Region

Posted on 11 Dec 2008

Nina’s Paris, the French-based gourmet Parisian café company has signed a franchise agreement with Kuwait-based operator Al Recardo Trading, to develop their stores across Kuwait and Syria, with the assistance of FranExcel.

Speaking on the agreement, FranExcel Sales Director Nick Boury said, “We are so pleased to help Nina’s find a great franchise partner for their entry into the Middle East. When we met the owners of the brand, which is extremely popular in Asian countries such as Japan and Korea, we were bowled over with their professionalism, enthusiasm and the structure of their franchise, which will add a new upscale dynamic in the region.”

Nina’s Paris has more than 290 retail ‘salons du thé’ across the world and are considered one of the most contemporary and innovative brands in the markets they operate in, offering more than 700 blends of tea to cater to tastes the world over.

Al Recardo Trading, headed by its General Manager Mr. Ehab Al Aradi, is planning open at least 12 new retail units across their territory. “We love the concept and are so excited to be involved with such a professional team led by their President, Madame Maite Bruneaud. Nina’s Paris enables our company to bring a new upscale offering to our market. The combination of their wonderful teas, their premium retail products, home-ware and tableware and healthy food menu, just works so well.”

Mr. Al Aradi added, “We would like to thank the team at FranExcel for their support, persistence and professionalism to help us conclude this deal. We look forward to working with them again in the very near future.”

FranExcel can be contacted by potential franchisees across the rest of the Middle East to discuss opportunities for Nina’s Paris.
